Matsyasana This pose can be very helpful in correcting spine abnormalities that involve a forward stoop.(Kyphosis and Forward stoop) Many of us have a tendency to stoop forward with our heads and upper spine especially with aging. The correction of spinal alignment may take months or even years to accomplish.

One of the easiest ways to enter this posture is to place the hands under the tailbone and use the elbows to help raise the body. Use the elbows for support or if you are a beginner or have an injury. |
