Always make sure you use the hands as support for the first five hundred times you enter this posture.

Breathe in as you enter the posture and as you breathe out adjust a little finding a state of comfort.

Never be lazy with the spine. When in the posture you should always push through the part of the head touching the floor. This is so that the little muscles in the spine get stronger.

After you have extended the arms out push down on the top of the hands to create less force on the head.

This posture is performed to open up part of the chest, nourish an area of the brain with the element of water and strengthen the core of the spine.
