Try to hold this pose for a few minutes. Its hard to hold the same posture for long when you are a beginner. So just bend the knees when it gets to sore. Or come up take a few breaths and then return to the posture. You can do this lots of times over a period of 3 minutes which is a good amount of time to hold this posture.
Also if the neck gets sore then just take the head down for a few breaths and then try to return it to the position shown in the picture. Move through the sequence shown as best possible but listen to your body and do what it asks you to do. "With the mouth closed begin to hum with a very low tone on each out breath. This will stimulate vibration around the thyroid." |
