Revolving Half Lotus
This is a nice Flow that helps you get into a better meditation position.
It is important to stretch out all the muscles that are tight and resisting against the seated meditation position.
Begin in Half Lotus or Full Lotus.
Take the arms back behind the body on the mat. The hands can be pointed back or slightly out for different effects on the shoulders. Lean on the fingers, ball points of the fingers or palms.
Lean forward and take the right elbow down. Raise the left arm up.
Point the fingers closed or keep them open.
Raise up and twist to the right. Use both arms to help in the twist.
The left arm can be seen over the outer right thigh. The Right arm is down behind you also helping with the twist.
Inhale on the exit and exhale twisting the opposite way. Inhale come out and exhale bowing down.
Switch legs and perform the sequence the opposite way. This time with the left leg in top.

Tip!
When twisting always raise up through the top of the head. Twisting on an already collapsed spine is a recipe for disaster.
